Short self-bio: I've been having a reader's block for the last three or four years, but I'm coming out of it now, I think. Before that I used to read a lot, three books a week or more. Now I need to get a grip on myself again because I might be starting an English Lit degree this autumn. I also write poetry and lyrics, and I've just started a very awesome graphic novel script.
 
Tell me why you’re interested in the group: I hope I'd get the motivation to read. I also love contests.

1. What did the last text that made you smile say?
My bff and I were laughing at the Eurovision contestants' eyebrows, and she said the dress code for her birthday would be huge bushy eyebrows.
 
2. If you could change one thing about your appearance what would it be?
I'd make my skin smooth and pretty. I have no words how fed up I am with buying three kinds of different meds every month, because none of them help.
 
3. If you could be any animal what would you be and why?
A cat probably, so that I would be pretty and could sleep all day. Or a whale, I love whales. But a proper one, like a blue whale. God I love whales.
 
4. If you could be any character from a book who would you be and why?
I really can't decide, but I'd like to be someone who's not constricted by the rules of society or ~duty~. Or I'd just be Thor (from Marvel) 'cause he's hot.
 
5. Is your polyvore style different from your style in real life? If so why?
It is different because I ain't got the money for clothes.
 
6. What was the first cd you ever bought?
Cheapness and Beauty by Boy George. I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed. I kinda liked it.
 
7. Which would you rather have no one show up to- your wedding or your funeral?
I assume my husband would show up at my wedding? I'm perfectly happy with having just him on that day.
 
8. Do you believe in aliens?
Yeah, but I don't think they have ever visited Earth. Or if they did, it was two million years ago or smth.
 
9. What’s one bad habit you have?
I whine and complain a lot, usually about things I'm supposed to be doing but am too lazy to do.
 
10. What is on your perfect pizza?
Ham, cheese, pineapples, peaches, some tomato sauce.

Sort out my life / start writing that novel I've been thinking about

I've just come back from my first day at work at a second-hand bookshop. It was a bit monotonous, but interesting. We had a batch of Soviet propaganda books and some gorgeous postcards. My family and I are going to my godparents' to watch Eurovision later tonight. I'm holding thumbs for The Netherlands!

1. if you could be anyone else alive today, just for a day, who would you be?
Emmm I'm not sure I want to take over someone else's life, even if for a day. But if I had to choose, it would probably be one actor or another (cause I'd like to be a guy for a while)
 
2. describe your dream outfit.
Oh gosh... High-waisted wide-leg black trousers, wide yellow and black paisley belt, simple tucked-in ivory shirt, and black velvet slippers. I'm planning to make this outfit in summer :)
 
3. what did you last dream about?
A very vivid conversation with a Portuguese taxi driver, who did not speak English, but spoke German; every third word we said was in another language. He refused to take me to the train station in the end.
 
4. if you were a food, what would you be?
Sweet cream onion soup with almonds.
 
5. what's a good name for a book?
Red on the Way Home (I might name my poetry collection this).
 
6. when did you first start to get interested in boys/girls?
Sexually? Never; I'm asexual. Romantically - well, it hasn't happened yet, I've had better things to do :) (I think my hormone levels are out of balance, but I like it).
 
7. your opinion on politics?
Like most young people, I really don't get them. I have no idea who's in the parliament now, and what parties they belong to. I also can't associate myself with any party, because there will always be points in their policy that I don't agree with.

ZARA, it's my favourite clothing shop :D or! Shakespeare and Co., I love it!

1. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Right now I want to teleport home instead of taking a two-day journey by bus there :\
2. What half-hour of your past would you like to experience again?
Visiting Cabo da Roca in Portugal. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Or the time I nearly drowned - that experience has changed me for ever.
3. What were your highs and lows of this year?
Lows, only lows. Well, I was accepted to Lancaster University, but other than that, I've been a miserable little shit all this year.
4. What is your favorite hair color?
On myself, my natural dark-honey-blond. On other people - whatever they like.
5. What do you look for when it comes to making friends?
Emmm... I have severe social anxiety and as a result don't really make friends. But similar views on life and hobbies would definitely be nice.
6. What are your three favorite movies and/or books?
Films: Everything MCU (that counts as one), Constantine, Indiana Jones;
Books: American Gods, Anne of Green Gables, On the Road.
7. What's your favourite season?
Late spring - midsummer, when the days are the longest. Although I do detest the heat.
8. Who has inspired you in your life and why?
My parents, who have been incredibly supportive, wise and understanding. Tori Amos, for not giving up (just read her biography). Anne Shirley. Sylvia Plath.
9. What are you looking forward to in the next week?
Going hoooome. Seeing Iron Man 3 with my cousin. Getting a job at a bookstore. Eating Lithuanian ice cream.
10. Do you fall for people easily?
No, I'm really guarded and detached. But in some cases I can get quite obsessed with a person.
